Most players seem to agree that having a few more days, but more zombies, is actually easier than facing less zombies but having less time. Then it's just a matter of being ready for whatever may come. The point is to get the timing down and know what happens and when.
Once you win that one out, make it 130% with 120 days, High Population. Set difficulty to 75% (120 days, Medium Population). Just general things that work kinda well for me so far.
